Data Availability Policy

Overview

JSM encourages authors to promote transparency and reproducibility by making research data available whenever possible.

Authors are encouraged to deposit supporting datasets in recognized institutional or disciplinary repositories before publication.

Data Availability Statement

Each manuscript should include a Data Availability Statement describing:

Where the data can be accessed
Repository name
Persistent identifier (DOI where applicable)
Access conditions
When Data Cannot Be Shared

If data cannot be shared due to the following restrictions, authors should clearly explain the reason:

Ethical Legal Commercial Confidentiality
Editorial Verification
Editors may request access to original data during the review process if necessary to verify reported findings.
