Editorial decisions are based exclusively on scholarly merit.
Prohibited Influences

Editors must not allow the following interests to influence publication decisions:

Commercial Political Financial Personal
Editorial Board Obligations
Declare any conflicts of interest
Recuse themselves from editorial handling whenever impartiality may reasonably be questioned
Editor-in-Chief Responsibility
Safeguarding Editorial Independence
The Editor-in-Chief has ultimate responsibility for safeguarding editorial independence and ensuring that all decisions are consistent with the Journal's ethical standards.
