Crossref Membership

Overview
Crossref Member
The world's leading non-profit organization providing Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration and scholarly metadata services.
Through Crossref, the Journal ensures that every published article receives standardized metadata that can be discovered, linked, and cited across international publishing platforms.
Crossref Services

JSM utilizes Crossref services to:

Register Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs)
Deposit standardized metadata
Facilitate citation linking
Support persistent access to published articles
Improve discoverability through scholarly databases
Crossref Similarity Check

To safeguard research integrity, all submitted manuscripts are screened prior to peer review.

Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate)
Applied to every submission before peer review.

Similarity reports assist editors in identifying:

Plagiarism Duplicate publication Excessive text overlap Inappropriate reuse of previously published material
Similarity reports are evaluated by editors as one component of the editorial assessment and do not automatically determine editorial decisions.
Crossmark
Future Implementation

As part of its long-term publishing strategy, JSM plans to implement Crossmark to provide readers with the most current version of each published article and to communicate any updates, corrections, or retractions.

Crossmark will further strengthen the Journal's commitment to transparency and the integrity of the scholarly record.
